What We Do

The Cedarcroft Halloween team works year round on finding all the graves and digging up more 12 foot skeletons. Thankfully the witches can fly them to the haunt as they don't fit into the truck bed.

Every department works throughout the year to make Halloween a memorable experience.

BROOM MASTER

McLeansboro is home to the only fully trained and certified Broom Master in the United States. Zelma and her team of witches fly year-round, helping the Halloween Team secure everything to get ready for 2024 Trick-or-Treat night.

SKELETON RESCUE

Cedarcroft is a one-of-a-kind rescue home for 12-foot skeletons from around the US. In 2022/2023 we rescued 16 of them, in 2024, 3 more were rescued. No skeleton is too big or too small when they're in need of help.

BIOHAZARD CLEAN UP

Years before the first coal mine was founded in Hamilton County, an undisclosed uranium find created a deadly biohazard zone. Zed died while burying it. Now his animated skeleton drinks bio-juice all night, thus Bio-Zed.

GRAVEYARD

Some bones prefer to stay buried. A. Nita Coffin, Grave Master, jumps in and digs graves for any bone not wanting to stay above ground. A. Nita also leads the skeleton support group that meets at 12:01 am on October 31st yearly.
